    Materials

    Body - heavy cotton twill reclaimed from a ditch in downtown LA. The fabric was meticulously reworked to make it new again. After the pattern was cut, the scraps became patches to cover the larger stains. Paint was used to cover the smaller ones. Freeform embroidery following western heritage motifs was lastly applied over the entire surface to fool the eye from any further unwanted imperfections. - Hardware - buttons from varying sources - plastic
