Gingham Denim Coat

We made this coat from three pairs of vintage jeans, cut with minimal waste. Back yokes became pocket flaps, waistbands turned into facings. Every part found a second use.

Vintage denim jeans: post consumer cotton denim, overdyed black with painted gingham surface treatment

Authentic T-10 parachute lining - nickel buttons - repurposed jean pocketing tag

(Construction)

cocoon coat shape - gusseted parachute lined front pockets - reused back yokes and waistbands - front facings - button closure - cut, sewn, and finished in our workshop
